Thuru Villa - Katunayake

The top floor room had beautiful views of trees and birds. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed with nice white pillows. The bathroom had an open top, awesome for a peaceful morning with bird songs. The owners were friendly and helpful, providing solid aircon and wifi. Breakfast was served with a smile and the pool was clean. Many dining options nearby and a nice, quiet location.

For us it was ideal.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel with friendly staff offering a warm welcome. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, within walking distance of a supermarket and main street. We loved the cleanliness and attention to detail in the hotel facilities. The comfortable room had power points next to the bed and was beautifully decorated with lots of unique and local art. The fragrant trees around the hotel provided a peaceful ambiance and the rooftop bar was fantastic.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The hotel had a prime location that was easily accessible and close to supermarkets and the main street. we enjoyed the small touches that made our stay more comfortable such as plenty of power points to charge our devices and a comfortable bed.

the first and foremost issue was the filthy sheets and poor hygiene in the bathroom.

My partner and I had a wonderful romantic escape near the airport. The location of the hotel was ideal for us, being close to the airport and having many dining options nearby. We loved the pool, which was clean and perfect for a refreshing dip. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was equipped with many power points, making charging our devices very easy.

The lack of air conditioning in the room made it very hot, especially since we couldn't use it during the long power cuts at night. the bathroom was on the small side, and without a shower screen, the toilet area got wet every time we showered.

We had a pleasant stay in a serene village close to the airport. the location was great, and we appreciated having a supermarket just a short walk away. the room was comfortable with many thoughtful amenities such as plenty of power points and local art. the family that owned the hotel was very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was a delicious selection of local dishes.

There was an issue with mosquitoes and no bed net, which made it uncomfortable at times.
